Firestopping is the application of an approved material in a pre-tested method according to the UL system that applies for a given deficiency. These deficiencies can be any number of items penetrating a barrier or the joint at which two barriers come together.​

Our technicians are certified and highly trained to identify and re mediate firestopping deficiencies in healthcare facilities.  An environment of ongoing training ensures that our staff is up to date with changes and always provides to very best service possible.

A properly firestopped facility is key to the maintenance of a properly managed Barrier Management Program (BMP).  While the remediation of deficiencies is vitally important to us, we encourage a proactive approach to barrier management. 

 In addition to performing firestopping services as they are needed pre or post survey, we work with our clients to achieve a fire and smoke safe environment at all times. This includes a scheduled inspection program, and an above ceiling work activity log and tracker.

 We will identify a schedule to inspect the facility that allows for the most active and effective maintenance of smoke and fire barriers. By successfully logging and tracking work done above ceiling, deficiencies can be managed before given the chance to cause harm to life by leaking smoke or fire.
